Here is some truth for you. What really matters is that you obey Father God. This is the key to living the blessed life, walking in freedom, finding your true identity, and having His power and authority. Your own opinion and reputation doesn’t count, so forget about those things and focus on Jesus. We delay our divine destiny and victories by walking in disobedience, and partial obedience is still disobedience. We have been made more than conquerors. If you read your Bible, which I highly recommend, then you will realize that since the world began Father God has been looking for those that live by faith and obey His Word. These two things are how you live the abundant life now. Your life will become a walking billboard of His mercy, love, grace and power. You must realize that you are a billboard already. The question is what does your billboard promote? Just like He wanted to lead the children of Israel into the promise land, He still wants that for you today. The issue is that we as people have not changed much and the same things that kept them from having promise land living stop us now. They dealt with unbelief just like we do. Yes, I know if you are reading this that you believe in God most likely. The Israelites believed in God and had seen Him do signs and wonders with their very own eyes. They believed in Him, but they did not really believe what Father God said. When He told them about the Promise Land and that He would give it to them (Exodus 23), they became afraid and doubted. If they truly believed God it would not have mattered how big the giants were, they would have obeyed His Word. Unbelief makes you refuse to do what the Word of God says! This unbelief always leads to disobedience. We begin to try to figure things out on our own instead of trusting His Word. I am personally thankful that God doesn’t require me to be smart, He just ask for us to listen and obey. Just know today that when God calls you to do something, He is with you! You have to forget about what culture says, your feelings say, others say- and only remember what God says. You are anointed for this time!
Today so many don’t have moral boundaries and we look for acceptance. As individuals so many choose to stay silent. We must love what God loves and hate what God hates. God loves people. We are lovers of people. But staying silent is not love. We must speak truth in love. This is the only way to freedom. If we do not take a stand, if we stay silent we are agreeing with evil. We are saying it does not matter. We are saying people do not matter.
Proverbs 8:13 NKJV says, “To fear God is to hate evil.” If we truly call ourselves Christians, we must not only love what God loves, but we must hate what He hates. This does not mean we are hateful to people, because God loves people-but we must hate sin and evil. It is His goodness that brings us to repentance.
But we also must not turn a blind eye to the truths laid out for us in the Word of God. We can no longer keep our mouths closed, keep our eyes and ears shut, and sit on our hands on the issues that surround us- such as Israel, pro-life, identity, family….. ask and let Holy Spirit show you.
I say wake up! Speak up in Love! Let us love with more passion than we ever have and let us pray earnestly as if our lives depend on it- because they do!
Praying for Israel! City of David cap!
“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers” (Proverbs 6:16-19).
“Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good” (Romans 12:9).
Jesus said, “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed” (John 3:19-20).
The Bible says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20).
It is time to say wake up and say woe! Let your light shine!
Many things are easy to talk about, know about, but doing those things is entirely different. Many times we think we need to do bigger or different when the truth is we need to do what we already know to do better. The bigger will come but only with the better. I personally made a decision many years ago to a lifetime of growth.
For growth and the better you have to make decisions. You must remember that no decisions is a wrong decision. And when you make a decision with a heart posture of faith and integrity God will protect you. Father God can not direct someone that is not moving and just sitting. “For being as he is a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), he is unstable and unreliable, and uncertain about everything he things, feels, decides.” James 1:8. Go ahead and make the decision to do it God’s way even in the middle of the battle of weariness. We are all tempted to tire out. Paul tells us twice in the Word of God, “do not grow weary in well doing.” When we push back on weariness we build endurance. “3 And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; 4 and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].” Romans 5:3-4.
So, when doing better gets tough- Paul says don’t grow weary. The doing better comes from being intentional. In Titus 3:14 it says, “let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.” This does not happen without effort. This doing better is not just when life is peaceful and comfortable, it is for the times of conflict and stretching.
C.S. Lewis said, “hardship often prepares ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”
When we read Hebrews 12, it is interesting to me that our lives are compared to a long distance race. A life of endurance. The word for race in Greek in this verse is agona. It is very much like our English word agony. Understanding that any time there is a long distance run every part of your being will be affected by it.
This is why it is so important to win the war in your head. Don’t give up- keep running. You have to think possibilities not problems. Your life is always moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts. The Bible says, “as a man thinketh so is he.” You have to know that you were created for righteousness. When you tap into your divine cause, you will be fulfilled, bold, and passionate. If you don’t tap into your divine cause, you will be frustrated, destructive, critical, and bored. Weariness has to go when you recognize that you are fighting from victory and not for victory. The moment you are in does not stop the mission you are on.
You are here by God’s appointment. You are here in God’s timing. You are here to be under God’s training. You are here for God’s keeping. You are here for God’s purpose. Remember Father God’s past faithfulness is a predictor of tomorrow’s promise. Do not make decisions based on temporary desires, but make decisions based on your divine destiny. God is not obligated to your dreams, He is committed to His purpose for your life! Don’t grow weary! Do what is the best! Do the better!
Wow! Today, I have been so thankful for faith family. The scripture Hebrews 12:1, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses…” As I have gotten older the thought of those that have gone on before me and led in faith, hope, and love brings me great comfort. The word “cloud” in this verse is taken from the Greek word repos. It describes clouds- just like the ones when you look up in the sky on clear days and sometime stormy. I think most people when we think of clouds dream of large puffy clouds with old prophets sitting on big pillows. But, there is way more to this word in Greek. The word “clouds” was also used to describe the highest seats in the grandstands, box seats. The seats at the top were called the “clouds” because they were so high up in the air. That means your seats are in the clouds, the highest place available. Then I think about being encompassed about, to be completely encircled by something high on every side. So, when in the Word of God it says laying all around us on every side and now clouds encompassed about we know that we are not alone! The very grandstands of heaven, full of our faith family, that persevered and stood the test are surrounding us and cheering us on. My heart needs this. This is so powerful to me. And since we are a sports theme family, I can really see it too. This should also remind us that we are not onlookers but participators and players. We are in the middle of the faith fight our whole lives whether aware or not. The enemy doesn’t like it when we realize our part. He doesn’t like it when we take a faith stand and decide to be immovable no matter what the facts, circumstances, emotions, or culture says. Today, I choose to do things that benefit the Kingdom of God. I choose to do drive back darkness by sharing the Light of Jesus. The fight of Faith is on! And when I look up into the grandstands of heaven and see that they are full of clouds, people just like you and me, it makes me want to fight harder. The steps of obedience which are the steps of faith will shake hell, and bring heaven to earth. Face the impossible and dream the unimaginable today. Let’s give heaven something to talk about. Something to watch and cheer for.
Your circle should always want you to win. They should clap the loudest when you have good news. They should rally around you when you are weak. If they don’t- get a new circle.
You don’t have to tell everyone what God is doing but the fruit will show up in your life. There will be people that want to talk about it, some taste it and others grow their own. Growth is done in silence but believe me the fruit talks. Those that want to grow their own will become part of your circle. Together you will have an orchard that can feed many hurting and hungry people.
There are two types of people- God can! Can God? If you are a God can then you are a courageous leader. It is in chaos and conflict that the champion inside of you is revealed. Here are some qualities that I believe champion leaders carry:
Champion Leaders: Set standards Practice hard Apologize quickly Learn lessons Develop fundamentals Form good habits Achieve goals Set vision Transform lives Love anyway Leave legacies!
What area are you succeeding in? What areas do you need to work on? Here is the key- start now and then continue. Remember consistency is what transforms average into excellence. Much Love- Allison Pope Bramlett
What’s different about you? 🔥I want my passion for Jesus to warm others and not burn them! But I want it to burn the flesh off of me.
Daniel never asked for the lions to leave. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego never prayed for the fire to go away- they did not talk about those that bowed- they just stood and walked in brave. David ran to his giants. Joshua and Caleb said the giants were their bread. Run to your mission not from it!
Matthew 4:23-Jesus Heals the Sick “23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. 25 Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis,[g] Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.” We carry the Healer and Helper, JESUS.
Friends, Believers, look around! Preach the Good News of Jesus to your friends, family, community and world. Look at them! They are saying preach me your Jesus of miracles, of forgiveness, of love, of hope, and I will follow you.
John 17: “14 I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth. 18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth. 20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, 21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: 23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
Jesus says to us as thou Father has sent me into the world even so I send them- send you! Why did Jesus come? He came to show us the Father God! And also to show us – us! What we are really suppose to look like!
The power is in the seed. What is planted will come up. If you plant corn you get corn. If you plant wheat you get wheat. You can bank on the fact that what you plant is what will come up. Holy Spirit, gives us power to plant what people need, what we need.
We must trust and believe in the Seed of the Word of God. We need to ask how can we partner with heaven to heal a broken world. The worst condition or virus someone can have is that of complacency and compromise- a life without focus and truth. The greatest revelation God has given to us is sending Jesus to show us His will which is to bring health, power, forgiveness, love, dynamic destiny, and living to people!
You bring heaven everywhere you go. You are the tabernacle of God. You bring life everywhere you go. When you arrive somewhere- Jesus arrives and has something good to say and love to demonstrate to everyone. We have life and we transmit life. God is a life giver!
If you are dead today, or dragging, He is life- He has fresh fire for you. Come Alive! Awake! Don’t be dead with your heart still beating. So many have lost their dreams, ambitions, desires, for a better life- that is tragic- don’t surrender your fight for self-esteem. Don’t compromise your potential. Don’t settle for social norms. Don’t accept average. Bring heaven to earth!
LIVE UNTIL YOU DIE. Don’t choose to die when God is saying “Choose to live!”
The greatest miracle in the world- to come alive- to be born again- to come back from the dead- and to believe it really can happen. This is every believers mission of healing. God has given me a power secret which I alone control and he has given it to you too. It is our right of choice how much we want out of life- how much we want of Him and not of us. You have to decide that you in God can not lose! God is not a loser! And we will win together. God is at work in me and you to do His Will.
GOD DOES NOT REDUCE TO MY STANDARDS OR SOCIAL NORMS, BUT RAISES ME TO HIS STANDARDS! I have chosen and I have decided to get God’s Best!
You are created in His likeness. WE ARE THE NOBILITY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON THIS PLANET. We are here for a GLORIOUS PURPOSE. The only person that can limit you is you. Our God is limitless.
I have decided to follow Jesus! Have you decided? Have you really decided? Have you really decided to deny yourself and follow Him so you can live life to its fullness. Say YES to God’s best- that glorifies Him, that fulfills my life, and makes the world better.
What do you believe? And what do you do about it?
Our mission, our focus is to love God while loving people. To serve God while serving people. To see God by seeing people. Recognize God by honoring people. To learn of God by observing people. To walk with God by walking with people.
People are not to be ignored! God is in them. Discover God by discovering the value of people. If you believe in God you believe in people. Remember, all people are made in His image. Connect with God by relationships with people. Communicate with God by talking to people.
Don’t say you can talk to God but not people. JESUS SAID WHAT YOU DO TO THE LEAST OF THESE YOU DO TO ME. We glorify God by esteeming others not ourselves. God is in the people business. Speaking truth in Love helps others find their true identity in Jesus!
Our world needs healing!!!!! We are healed and we become healers. We are forgiven and we become forgivers. We are loved and we become lovers. We are lifted and we become lifters of others. We are blessed and we become blessers. We are told truth and we are truth tellers. We have been given mercy we are mercy givers.
People need to know what Jesus has done for you He can do for them. This way of life is a miracle way of life.
WE ARE NOT PREACHING A DEAD RELIGION WE ARE PREACHING A RISEN CHRIST- JESUS IS LORD AND KING OF KINGS! Jesus makes things simple and we choose to make them hard. It is a yes to Him and no to the enemy and to our own flesh. Holy Spirit is in you helping you let Jesus live through. Jesus has given you power and authority! The Word of God is Jesus! If you want to know Jesus know His Word! Jesus is in His Word and Jesus is in you! That is what Paul understood- we are in Christ and Christ is in us. We are redeemed, everything concerning us is fulfilled in Jesus! We are all called to be healers- to be ministers of reconciliation- to be lovers of God and others. You have to decide to keep on loving! To keep on living! To keep on blessing! To keep on sharing truth!
People are hurting, they are lonely, they are broken- let Jesus heal you and them. What you have is what everyone wants….. be honored to tell them about your Jesus! Mark 16:15-18 Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.
When you touch people rely on the power of God on the inside of you that they cannot see. The Word of God and the name of Jesus is the power and authority that we walk and talk in. And when we get somewhere the devil has to back off. Just your presence transforms atmospheres because you walk in His presence. (Like Peter’s shadow)
Jesus returned from the wilderness in power- He returned to show you how. He came back to show us how to minister. Everything Jesus says about His Father in the Gospels you can say about the Father. Jesus is showing us how to talk about the Father- and also show us how the Father wants us to be. The Father’s will has not changed, the Father’s will was in Jesus and now the Father’s will is in me and you, if we believe. Lo, I come in the volume of the book it is written of me, Allison Pope Bramlett-
“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”Hebrews 10:7
Jesus said God sent me to the people. Do you tell people God has sent you? Every time you walk in somewhere do you realize God sent you? Do people know you love them when you get there? Do they know you are going to tell them the truth? You are being sent by God to others because He loves them. And He looked all across the planet and decided to use me and you. The Words that I speak to you are from Him. That is what Jesus said and what we should be saying. If you believe that God has sent you then act like it! God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit. God anointed Allison Bramlett with the Holy Spirit. God anointed you with the Holy Spirit. Same Holy Spirit that He anointed Jesus. Let Him function in and through you. Believe it is God in you and not you!
Get out where the people are. Be moved by compassion. Operate in love. Speak Truth! Jesus will do wonders if you will let Him. It is Jesus that does it…call it anointing, call it gift, call it whatever…but HE DOES THE WORK- Believe in yourself by believing in the Jesus in you, not just you. Christ is in you! The world needs healing, not only for sick bodies, but for sick homes, sick relationships, broken trust, broken hearts- Jesus is the only answer. Today, stand and share the Word with everyone around you! Let them follow you as you follow the Lord and live the full life.
In true loving relationships there is nothing to hide. Strong relationships don’t keep secrets and they speak the truth in love. This truth must be spoken even if it makes you uncomfortable to say or hear. That is why the saying just follow your heart can get you in trouble. The Word of God says that the heart is deceitful, so you have to just follow the Word of God. The Word teaches us to have open communication without being defensive. You have to make Jesus your treasure and your heart will follow. Unrealistic and unspoken communication, unmet expectations are the cause of most conflicts and disagreements in relationships.
This means your Words are so important, but your tone is too. The majority of what we communicate comes from our tones, actions and body languages. This means the best time to work and invest in relationships is when things are good. The healing adventure can be long, emotional, and not quickly- it is a process. That means healing the hurt which causes defense in your relationships can be painful but worth the process. Your pain carries a purpose which will lead to healing in others lives. This means don’t give up too quickly. Disagreements should make you look at yourself first. You must look at the wound, the pain, the good, the wrong, and be transformed to look more like Love. Please keep pressing, keep healing, keep apologizing, keep forgiving, and keep rebuilding. So ignoring the problem doesn’t make it go away. In every relationship it takes two to have emotional intimacy. Many times we are more invested than others or they may be more invested than you are. Yet, the greatest connections take place when both parties are invested. So, the strongest relationships communicate everything that is relevant to that relationship.
Coming to the realization that the quality of your relationships is the quality of your communication. If you treat someone at the end like you did in the beginning most relationships would never end. It is about connection and not just communication. That means that our relationships should be full of appreciation and our meditation must be on what so ever is good. Reminds me of Philippians 4:8.
Growth in everything is intentional. Seeing the difficulty we have with others is normally there because we don’t get along with ourself. The disagreement is there as a strategic attack from the enemy to take over your territory. The territory of your thoughts, emotions, time, and relationships. It is about the lives you will touch, businesses you will be part of, giving you can do, and fun you can have. Decide today that you are going to have breakthroughs in your relationships. You are not going to be defensive. You are not going to be caught in negative cycles. You are going to win. You are going to lead. You are going to impact and influence. It is time for Breakthrough. SMALL DISCIPLINES DONE CONSISTENTLY LEAD TO BIG RESULTS OVER TIME.
The small things no one sees that lead to the big things everyone wants.
Start today being intentional with communication and Stop doing what doesn’t grow you. Great friends and leaders impact mindsets, skillsets, toolsets, upsets, and resets. So, today what could you do in your relationships 10% less or more that would stretch you out of your relational comfort zone? Remember, Holy Spirit is our comforter for when we press our comfort zone- we have a helper and a guide as a stretching partner. The truth is GROWTH IS UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE WE HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Today you are going to have courage to make new things happen in your relationships.
Relationship breakthroughs normally happen at breaking points. We are given the opportunity to have a breakthrough or a breakdown. Most of this is happening when disagreements are present in our relationships. It is so important to learn to disagree without being defensive. All Covenant relationships that last are set on a foundation of commitment. A lifetime of commitment and pursuit. We may disagree on issues but must always agree to never quit. We can show support and disapproval in words and actions. It takes more than just words to show honor and respect to others. Actions must be used and words should align with them.
In a disagreement there is normally a default response which is similar to our trauma responses. People tend to fight, flight, freeze or fawn. Fight is when we have aggressive outburst that are negative and critical. Flight is when we run away from the disagreement by escaping into work, hobby, activity, and being obsessive compulsive. Freeze is when we have a brain fog, depressions, isolation, and putting off making decisions. Fawn is when we people please, are codependent, lack of boundaries, and avoid conflict. Sometimes we may demonstrate a mixture of these reactions. The point is think about what it is like to be in a disagreement with you.
The Word of God wants to help you get unstuck, set goals, cast vision, move toward your God purpose, and live out your potential. It helps you work through your trauma, pain, disagreements and process healing, resolve issues, and communicate without defense. The Word gives you emotional and physical breakthrough, get revelation of God’s Love, gain wisdom and understanding. You can SPEAK TRUTH in LOVE.
Great relationship and breakthroughs happen not just based on desire but also emotional disciplines. It is so important to learn what you are dealing with is not who you are. Your confession locks in your identity and your confession over others is how you identify them. The person with the most hope actually has the most influence. Remember IT IS NOT WHAT OTHERS CALL YOU, IT IS WHAT YOU ANSWER TO that identifies you. So negative minds, words, and conversations do not give you a positive life. Your conquering is how you answer your calling. This means your best relationships bring out the best in you. BEST FRIENDS is not just one person but it is the group of people that influence your life the BEST.
Obstacles in you relationships should not prevent connection but should make connection more powerful and purposeful. Obstacles are opportunities to prepare us for more. Be yourself. Own your zone. Be present. Have courageous communication by speaking the Truth in Love.
Now is the time! It is wonderful to reflect on yesterday and dream about someday, but you can not get lost in those and not live in the now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says that “now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
The Word of God addresses us in the now. In John 2 where we read about Jesus and His first miracle at the wedding, it is about now. The story has six water pots which represent mankind. Jesus doesn’t empty out the water pots, but He transforms them with His Word. That is exactly what He does in us. We are transformed into His image by His Word. While reading the Word that the best was saved for now jumped out at me. Understanding that we were created for such a time as this. We are the best for now. You are the best for now. Father God wants us to live favor-minded! He wants us to live expecting the fulfillment of His promises in our life. The Word of God shows us that we are suppose to have an intimate and interactive relationship with Father God and our faith family.
Esther 4:14, “Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” The mission of heaven never changes but the men and women do. The choice lies in whether or not I do my part in fulfilling heaven’s mission on earth. God has given us jobs, positions, education, relationships, and opportunities to use bring His kingdom to earth. We are here to fulfill His divine destiny and not our own. We have a kingdom mission assignment. It is not for our own personal kingdom but for King Jesus! God has a destiny for your life, and every event can be used to make that destiny a reality. Esther’s life, Daniel’s life, Joshua’s life, your life…. it is not just a bunch of coincidences strung together. Father God has chosen you for His purpose for this time. You are the Best for Now!
Just a few weeks ago I received a phone call that would change my life forever. I was invited to be part of a trip to Israel with the Israel Collective team. My answer was immediately YES! There were a few obstacles in the way but the Lord went before me and opened all the doors. My husband and family knew that this was an amazing opportunity for me.
On April 4th in the JFK airport I would meet new faces that would quickly become faith family. Friendships that sharpen and encourage you. Before leaving and even having our initial group zoom call I felt that this trip would be one of celebration, expansion, and revelation. My eyes and heart would be opened to so many things. The depth of the Word coming to life. Realizing how much Jesus loves his hometown and family. Seeing the Bible in color. Understanding that following Jesus is not convenient but is extraordinary! Understanding that the joy of the Lord is truly our strength.
Choosing the path to peace. (Wall at Gaza Strip) from the most beautiful community full of hope and courage! Forever thankful that I got to be included in their story.
We actually started our trip breaking bread together on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Caesarea. Laughter would be part of this group from start to finish. What joy it is to be together in Him. At Caesarea I thought of Paul leaving his homeland to never return but full of hope that the Gospel was being spread. It is where Peter came and preached to Cornelius the centurion
Herod’s palace Caesarea
On our second day we would begin by walking where Jesus walked. We would go to Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene. We would see the town, the synagogue, the purification pools, and the destruction. Just thinking that this could be the very place that Jesus likely taught.
Synagogue in Magdala.
Then we went to the Mount of the Beatitudes. Where we read the Word together. Took in the lane around us. I could see Him pointing to the mustard plants that were surrounding us, the city across on the hill, the river below us- making ordinary things extraordinary.
Mustard!
We would grab lunch as a group in a wonderful Israeli Druze community village in the north. It was wonderful. The best falafel I have ever eaten and my first coke in Israel. Yes and hallelujah. We would then jump in jeeps and head to Israel’s northern border next to Syria. What an extraordinary experience. And we truly went off road…. Learning the truths of the people in and around this area.
My jeep crew!
Then we were headed to the Sea of Galilea for a ride on the water. The very same water Jesus and Peter walked on. The same area where He spoke peace to the storm. As we read the Word and sang together I felt His peace- His laughter- His Smile on us.
Our days would be full of amazing scenes out of the Bible and bus rides of rich conversations with laughter and tears. In Capernaum I would see how the families lived and shared such a beautiful community. We read in the scriptures about in our Father’s House are many rooms and this was beautifully shown to me.
Capernaum Soul Sisters!
“In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2 AMP
On our way to Jerusalem. Thinking how Jesus loved and wept over Jerusalem. Everyday was full of amazing conversations from many different people all speaking of the peace and hope of Israel. And on the way an amazing stop seeing the road to Damascus. Stopping for people, just like Jesus!
Road to Damascus
In Jerusalem we would walk the Palm Sunday road- knowing that our own Palm Sunday was at hand. Imaging all the people crying out Hosanna! Go to the Mount of Olives. We would sit together in the Garden of Gethesamne. Knowing that we were the joy set before Him to endure the cross. That He drank the cup for me.
One of the greatest parts of the trip for me was the Garden Tomb. I had the great honor of leading this group of dynamic leaders in communion. Sharing in this time of community with Christ as the centerpiece. Worshipping together in a small chapel lifting up the name of Jesus. Then heading over to the Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Museum, which is beyond words. I would later on during the trip meet one of the holocaust survivors accidentally at breakfast and share a sweet time with him. Making what I saw in the museum come to life. We would leave the museum to walk the trail from Yad Vashem to Mount Herzl, celebrating the founding of the State of Israel and all those that have lead with the hope of peace.
Dov Landau- holocaust survivor (look him up)Dov- the boy that smiles
We would eat many times in the busy markets enjoying the local culture. We would journey to the Old City of Jerusalem and walk the Western Wall. It actually felt like we walked many walls. And this day would end with an amazing Sabbath meal with a beautiful Jewish family in Jerusalem that opened up their home to a loud joy filled bunch of Jesus lovers and the night would be full of learning and blessings.
We would meet with so many amazing leaders- an Israeli Muslim journalist, Pastor Stephen Khoury, Colonel Dani Tisza, Danielle Mor, other citizens, leaders and organizations that are helping keep Israel safe and hopeful.
We would see the City of David, the water system, the walls of Jerusalem, the road that ascended to the tabernacle. So much that I think it will take me weeks to unpack it all from my heart and mind. We would pray at the western wall while seeing the children learning with big smiles, men dancing and singing, women dancing and singing, wailing and rejoicing all together. It made me want to be at home with my amazing faith family- sharing worship and prayers together. I would see the amazing churches and places that those that I have read about actually built and walked on. We would float in the Dead Sea together as a group enjoying the goodness of God with a few accidents- don’t get the water in your eyes and use the steps getting in- if you know you know! We would see how Israel keeps its heart and arms open to others while working to keep itself safe. It is a country full of hope innovators. I feel such a great new responsibility to lift up the name of Jesus and stand with Israel. And I believe this is just the beginning. So from Tiberius, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and all in between I bless and pray for you- Israel!
These last few days have brought the gift of friendship with some of the most amazing people in the world- my Israel Collective family. I know that the best is yet to come and we are better together. My life has been transformed by them. I feel fresh Fire and greater Love than ever before. So just know there is more to come. Going from glory to glory and faith to faith!

So- Going to Israel did make me fall more in love with Jesus- but it also made me fall more in love with what He loved…. His community, His family, His homeland, His people!
